My wife and I got the opportunity to spend the weekend at the Biltmore Estates in Ashville, NC.  This estate was built by George Vanderbilt in the late 1800's.  It is an amazing place.  The Biltmore House is 5 stories and has 175,000 square feet, 250+ rooms and 43 bathrooms.  By the way they had hot and cold running water, flush commodes and electricity back in the late 1800's.  There are 21 bedrooms just for female servants.

We stayed in the Biltmore Inn which is a exclusive 4 star hotel located on the property.  We got a chance to see what rich people live like.  We had a fabulous time including fine dining and being pampered by the staff.  We had a package that included access to the whole estates during the length of our hotel stay.  They had a winery, horse stable, a barn and many more features on the land.   The land was originally 225,000 acres.  Some of the land has been sold to the Government to make Pisgah National Forest.  Hovever, it is still huge.

Will make some more Tabblos with additional pictures.
